Gail Skroback Hennessey

Gail Hennessey taught social studies for most of her 33 ½-years of teaching. She was named Outstanding Elementary Social Studies Teacher of the Year by both the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) and the New York State Council for the Social Studies. She has authored eight books for teachers and more than 35 books for children. When not writing about history, Gail and her husband Radcliffe read about history at home in Harpursville, NY.
