Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1815–1902) was a pioneering American suffragist and women's rights activist. A key figure in the early women's rights movement, she co-organized the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848, advocating for women's suffrage and equality. Stanton's work laid the foundation for the eventual achievement of women's voting rights in the United States.
